I have a Buddhist and a Sikh staying with us for a bit in our Catholic household. Sounds kinda like a joke. I had put “passion of the Christ” on one tv with the sound down, I didn’t want to feel others had to watch it or impose as that’s not how I roll.

They asked if I could put it on the main tv and read the closed caption as they used their phones for translation. Yup, very little English spoken in my house for a couple weeks which is buggin me out a bit.

Anyway I did as requested and we all watched it together. No debate, no preaching just being open. I notice the movie is moving even to those of different faiths.

My Sikh friend has better English and I am very fascinated by the ideas of Sikhism.

Anyway, hope it’s a good day for all regardless of your faith or lack there of.
Peace.

Have them dye eggs next.
This year Easter crept up on me and I didn't organise anything Easter related until my 8 year old pointed out she wanted to go on a Easter Egg hunt, too late they had all finished and the shops were all closed so I couldn't organise one based at home either. I had to opt for a lollypop hunt instead, daughter was happy, my bacon saved.
However I must admit lollypops are no substitute for chocolate Easter Eggs!

If anything like my kids, the candy payoff is what counts and lollipops would do the trick.

Late to the party -- Happy Easter.

We did the Catholic one on Sunday. It was just a dinner, as our son is too old to mess with egg hunts and Easter baskets.

And this Sunday we have Easter II, for my wife and some Othodox friends. Community contribution on the food, and two of the people are chefs 😎
