hello guys, I was after a tropical or chocolate dial vintage watch for a while and of course the Speedy immediately came to my mind. But it took me a while to find a nice one. And here it is. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. During my research I read that these are mostly found in a serial range between 29m and 30m. Is this a strict rule or more like a loose observation? Mine has a 30,5m serial but I have no signs that anything was put together. The watch looks honest to my eyes. Thanks for watching...
Looks nice to me, serial is close enough to the majority of the chocolate colored 69 reference. Looks like it has a lot of character.
Very nice indeed! I had one of those Speedy trees on my back yard but it die during the last winter storm it was an unfortunate event and I was unable to benefit from any fruit
Thanks for your comment @sky21 I'm so sorry to hear that @alam Maybe you should plant a new one and see what the next summers and autumns will bring.
Hi there, first time posting because I noticed something here. I think someone bought this dial on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ome...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Added it to your watch: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Incredibl...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network And the dial for your watch is still for sale on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1...144791?hash=item23676e6a57:g:CUAAAOSw2GlXFL9DPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I might be wrong, maybe check over the pictures though. You did well to notice the SN on your piece doesn't match with the batch in which most of the tropicals appear, a lot of people aren't interested in such details. Again I might be wrong, hopefully I am! Hello to everyone either way
