    I don’t know if you can expand this and see the hands but it’s offered at 625 no recent service. If you can see the second hand is deteriorating

    I'd be far more concerned with the overall condition of the case, particularly with what appears to be some heavy wear/damage to the upper left lug. The minute hand has also lost some of it's black infill. The second hand should be the least of your worries.

    Really more of a $300 watch, I'd pass.

    On a gold capped watch, look for wear on the lugs at the tips. See how the gold has worn off, revealing the base metal underneath? Notice the overall "melted soap bar" shape of the case edges? (they should be sharp and crisp) These are common watches; you should be able to find another in better shape.
