I believe some of you have already knew my story with this watch ( long time of struggling till i got perfect one) anyway,,,,everything now is fine!

This is the most beautiful Planet Ocean watch i have ever gone through. So neat and color scheme are well designed

Why is it packed like some cheap shaver? how did you get this watch? buy it at ad?
if you ask me, I'd go with stainless steel bracelet.

 

If you are not aware, sll watches comes from the factory are boxed in this plastic box. Then the shop arrange it in a box case.

I requested the OB not to open the plastic box till i am present so i check it freshly.

 

Interesting. still can't believe you went to ad as you probably paid 20% more than needed.

 

I'm a bracelet guy also but that band is truly stunning.

 

Not necessarily if he got it from an AD.

In either case, why do you think he paid 20% more?



To the OP - Love the watch and that strap but I do wish it didn't taper as much as Omega made it.

aren't prices at ADs supposed to be the same as in OBs? I've heard that omega regulates the prices...

 

All manufacturers attempt to regulate prices but the ADs are free to do as they choose.

Rolex, is one MFG that is able to influence the AD the most to keep prices at or close to MSRP which isn't hard to do given their demand.

AD's will haggle on some watches. Depends on the AD and a bunch of other factors. Yes Omega has taken steps to reduce this about 5 years ago.

 

Mmm. Looks like you are confused with other member. I didn't pay 20% more and i didnt get the watch from AD!!!

 

First post! I paid for the same but with bracelet, later I will get a strap myself as well... looking excellent hope you will enjoy it in good health always!!
I took advantage of the turkish currency depreciation recently and got the beauty for 4100usd!! I am just waiting now to be shipped since weather over there is really bad and courier companies not in operation until tomorrow...
