Last week i received a call from the Greek Director of the Omega Boutique here in Athens. - Would you come, during the week, to photograph new and classic models in our boutique? ..... Mr. Moissidis told me..... -Invite some of your Omega-freak Friends too!!!! OF COURSE I WILL!!!!!!!!!! was my reply...... and this is what happened..... So, lets start! The fantastic Dark Side of the Moon......I love this watch, so much charisma and technology fused into this piece. The limited Mk2, the Rio Edition..... the touch with the 3 subdials (Gold, Silver, Bronze representing the Olympic medals is pure genius). The watch that stole my heart, although its not my style. The Omega Deville Tresor. A great dress watch with an immaculate dial. Has the cal.8511 which is antimagnetic at 15,000gauss, really a great piece. 3 seamasters came next! The new Seamaster 300M Chronograph GMT-Μ Co-Axial..... Humongus and built like fort Knox. The Seamaster GMT blue in titanium. Light as feather The all time classic, the staple in Omega's catalogue the Seamaster Diver 300 The next one stole our hearts. The X33 Skywalker, the perfect tool watch imho..... Then came a small brake, Mr. Moissidis demonstated us the new Speedmaster Moonwatch case. A NOS cal 321 speedmaster joined us..... Some great reference books with the Omega history also joined. Things became so serious. The new Seamaster 300...... Shock and Awe! Up to that point is seems that we were exhausted. So many fine watches..... Me and my friends (X, Teo66, Desmo16) left the boutique discussing the experience. It was GREAT! I hope you liked the presentation and the pics. A BIG THANKS to the Greek Boutique director Mr Manthos Moissidis for his hospitality. Till Next time..... Cheers
Great pictures and awesome watches, about 1 month ago I went to the Omega boutique in NYC and loved the whole experience!
Awesome photography. What a great way to spend the day. Agree about the DSOTM. Just love it. The Rio looks very nice.
Hi Elio, Thanks for your great pictures and report, I'm number one on the waiting list at my nearest Omega boutique for both the Limited MK2 Rio Edition and the new Seamaster 300 and although I'm more into diving watches then chrono's there is just something about the Rio that keeps drawing me in getting both is out of the question but hopefully if all goes well I should end up getting one or the other.
