Hi I was looking at a speedmaster reduced the other day 3510.50 and some of the hands were a slightly different color to the other two hands. Whiter with the other two being a bit more faded in keeping with the numbers on the face.

I have no idea whether this is natural or indicates something not to trust. Please help.

+ great to be on the forum for the first time.

If the hand patina doesn't match the indicies, it could mean the hands are service replcements. Not an issue unless it nothers you. Personally, I like all of the patina, or lack there of, to match.

I have a speedy triple date and the sub seconds hand has started to age. I've had the watch from new and the hands are original. I think you might have to put this down to patina
