I picked this watch up for less than $300. Do you believe it is fair price? and can I have your feedback on this watch?

It’s an old and honest vintage watch. In the years I’ve been in this game and hanging here, don’t see many from the original company. Case has seen the polishing wheel. Can’t comment on the condition of the movement. Looks to be all original and the hands could benefit from a sympathetic and skilled lume fill. As a collector I’d think you have plenty of upside for servicing. I like it. $300 is a great grab. ( caveat is the condition of the movement and assuming that the dial discoloration is flares from the plexiglass and not dial damage from water incursion. )

Thanks Larry for detailed explanation, I go through each line and I better understand now, only one point I did not get it fully, ( caveat is the condition of the movement and assuming that the dial discoloration is flares from the plexiglass and not dial damage from water incursion)

please post pics not links…this one makes you become a member to look at the watch.
I am so sorry; I did not mean to. The shared website was a reference for watch prices and not for selling. Again, I apologize.

If it is a real Moser the price is fine. The problem with old watches is not so much their cost but what they need to be put in proper working order.

Would certainly be nice to see good photographs of the movement.

@Larry S nailed it. For 300 if running you got a cool piece. Esp if Moser continues to gain traction in the higher end of the marketplace.

A cleanup and sympathetic relume of the hands will go along way.

@Mitka would be a person to contact for restoration of this piece to a great wearable status.

The light on the crystal can make the dial look discolored. I don’t think the dials on these is damaged. Condition of movement … Repairable, 100% all there (no missing parts) , no water damage.
