Much appreciated, specially as it includes a reference to endlinks.

1039 with straight endlinks (660) was used in Spain for a Geneve:

I happen to have one of those funky looking Geneves, with a like new 1039 bracelet, and now I have an authoritative source of what endlinks I need to find, because eventually, that bracelet will end in a Speedmaster.

    Ciao Gigi,

    Hi Gigi,
This is not a guide from O&P. This is the guide I realized and decided to publish first on O&P and then here, on ISSUU, and wherever I would like because I like very much to share my works with as many people as possible:)

I've always heard rumours that there were a lot of very serious Speedmaster collectors in Italy, good to see some more of them on omegaforums!

I just bought my first pre-pro a week ago, being restored at the moment, a 105.002 but I would love to find a 2998 with a chocolate patina like that some day, the JB Champion bracelet really completes the look perfectly.

    Ciao Base1000,
it is a 2998-3 as you can see from the dial and from the bezel.
I was forced to sell it because of the radiation level emitted by the luminous material on indexes and hands.
    But I miss it

I guessed that it must be a -3, as no BASE 1000 but still the sub-alpha-hands. However I did not know that even the -3 came with the Lolipop.

significant level of radiation? This sounds scaring  I have a 2998-1 with similar good preserved radium indicies....

If you put a Geiger counter beside the glass I'm sure you are not going to wear it carelessly anymore
