Now I'm wearing my '66 most days, my cal 861 isn't seeing much wrist time. ...so what do you suppose has happened to it now its not getting much love from me
I was being really slow then. First, I dismissed the pinky colour strap as being iffy white balance in the photo, then I noted your surprisingly ladylike forearms. Finally the penny dropped....
I know I had long sleeves on when we met, but I don't know whether to be flattered or very worried that you thought those might be my arms
Not the first time a WIS has had a watch commandeered by their better half. Windy has taken a shining to one of my JLC's.
Welcome to the club! I lost my DeVille under similar scenario... but hey! now I have a reason to get another one for me!
Me too! My wife took to wearing my completely original big triangle Seamaster 300 (even has the original crystal) so I had to buy her her very own 300 before it became marked. Is nothing sacred!
I hope I don't have to join the club. My wife look at all my modern and vintage Omegas and said to me: " Buy me a Rolex Lady Datejust and I will not bother you with your watches"
That, my friend, is soliciting a bribe - and also a fine idea! Windy just saw me shooting this dial.... .... and said "Ooooo, is that mine?" "No!" couldn't come quicker out of my mouth.
LOL .............So what she gets at the end ?............... C'mon, I would not believe she didn't open a bargain.
She's busting my stones. I'm taking her to the casino today so she can donate some money to the one arm bandits.
Hey, she's the light of your life. It's your privilege. Go forth with a smile. (Ignore any comments Ashley may make)
I have a really nice 1950 Hamilton Lambert. I put a reddish-maroon strap on it thinking that it looked neat. Don't wear it much, have a hard tome matching it to a belt and shoes.
My wife doesn't have watch envy so I'm safe. She could care less. I would like to get her a decent watch, but she wouldn't appreciate it.
