Another one up on the block...somewhat rare and unique Gubelin branded Eterna with a great oversized case, tutone scientific dial with radium numerals, abs base Eterna cal. 853 movement.

Case: 37mm stainless with screwback and dust cover in excellent condition. Fancy sculpted lugs that are 19mm wide. It’s a tank on the wrist.

Dial: Scientific dial that the oyster colored with a slightly different color minute track and radium numbers. Dial has patina throughout as pictured.

Movement: Eterna cal. 853 base - I don’t know if Gubelin modified it or just labeled the plates. Service history is unknown, but it currently runs well.

Crystal/Hands/Crown: Crystal is acrylic and in very good condition. Hands are original blued steel with radium lume, sweep has a red painted tip. Crown appears to be original as I’ve seen the same size/style on others.
