    Anyone got one yet?
Tried this on in the local OB yesterday. Wow! All I can say. The dial and the Sedna gold treatment are just perfect. This is definitely going on my list (along with a Steel Rolex YM2 - sacrilege I know).

The JLC is I think spoiled by the hands. By sheer force of prejudice, I wouldn't even consider the Rolex! At nearly £10K this is a Speedy I'd have no desire to own, but I respect the concept and 'look' certainly.

Would you still consider the JLC if the hands were in Rose Gold?[IMG]

Looks better, but my main objection is to the shape of those hands which seem to me curiously inelegant . . and although Rose Gold is not my favourite metal, as I'm interpreting your message as a very kind offer, how could I refuse such an unexpected gift from you: I'll PM you my postal address; (please don't be off-put by the fact that its what used to be called a loony bin!)

The Soyuz speedyorite tops them all, in my opinion.

Holy cow!!! The steel JLC is not that expensive it sounds like a nice addition to the collection.
On the pic you posted the dial looks very nice, it's kind of dark, on other pictures I saw online it has a more silvery look. Hmmmm, it looks much nicer the way it looks in the pictures here.
Rolex is a big NO-NO for me and the speedmaster, in this case is also a NO-NO. The combination of Sedna with the ceramic case bothers me somehow.

I thought the JLC meteorite dial was a little different from the other dials ...so when i read that the origin of the JLC dial was not the Gibeon ( i keep typing Gideon !!) in Namibia but Sweden. Oh Yeah ! The Swedish Rock came from the Asteroid Belt....

Personally a fan of the GSOTMM. Saw one in person recently:

US friends of mine came over for the Goodwood Revival and after we enjoyed that weekend they stayed with me for a few days. On a visit to Cheltenham (my local town) there just happened to be a GSOTM Meteorite in Beards. Thirty minutes later it was no longer in Beards! They had ADs in LA, Beverly Hills and Las Vegas trying to get one for them. I have to say that the images/pictures don't do it justice and I wasn't that keen from images; in the flesh it is stunning.

Thats a very unflattering shot of the Daytona. I've seen one in person and I really like it in person and I'm not a fan of the meteorite or Daytona of that era.

    Hi @Foo2rama

I feel guilty putting up an unattractive lousy photo of the Daytona 116519 Meteorite. Now i'll show you a Malaysian who owns the very watch , posted in the Malaysian watch forum & hope the photos do some justice....some sort of redemption is surely required here.

You are right of course, Sir.I've seen one in the flesh on the wrist of a Malaysian Chinese " Tauke " ( Businessman ) & i couldn't take my eyes off the Daytona meteorite [emoji15][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Oh Yeah , Mr Raynald Aeschlimann , the Big Kahuna of Omega , if you're reading my post , if an updated version is on the cards , i suggest the date should match the Red colour of the Speedmaster font because its large date size is a definate distraction & steals some of the limelight away from an otherwise beautiful dial [emoji51]

Better yet, Mr. A, please leave the date off entirely!

As for favorite models, meteorite should never look white, it should look black as night (with some reflections):

+1 on the date. Speedy shouldn't have a date, although it looks better at 6 than 3.

Looks a lot better in Rose Gold.
