I absolutely love it! When grey is done right it looks so damn good. Can you post some pics of it out in the sunlight? I may get one for my 30th bday next year. Thanks for posting it!

These have kinda grown on me, really like the Grey Side after seeing it in normal light.

And at the OB today, they had the Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 there. Wears big but the details they pack into the dial and reverse is amazing. The ceramic case wears light, only thing is the 44.25 size which would need to get used to.

I had the previous Apollo 8 and really like how light ceramic wears on the wrist. It just disappears in spite of the size. It never bothered me when i wore it. The new Grey Side is even better with the reduced size and thickness.

When the price is right, you gotta give in.

Its weird you posted this on March 26th, the same day I got mine. Its an absolutely amazing watch. It is expensive but it has been the only Speedmaster I've wanted to add to my collection in a long time.

I really love mine, I think it's one of the best looking watches on the market.

It is certainly some thing else than the spartan and strict Speedmaster.

The standard moonwatch has its place and I love them too, but this one makes me happy.

I saw this is person for the first time in Tokyo last week and it really is a stunner!! As I've already got my beloved black Apollo 8 there's little point in considering adding this piece, BUT if I ever got tired of black'n'yellow then this would definitely jump way higher on my drool list!!

And I know that to some the 44mm size is off-putting, but I'm honestly rethinking all my standard 42mm Speedies now becuase whilst I LOVE the look of them, I just don't wear then anymore becuase I'm always wearing my bigger watches (one already sold and more to get posted soon!).

Enjoy this fabulaous new acquisition & out of curiousity, would you ever consider changing the hands to something more legible (something I'm considering on my Apollo 8)?

I also had legibility issues with the Apollo 8 also when I had one. The hands were too close in appearance to the indices. Made it hard to differentiate. Surprisingly, I don't have the same issue with the Grey Side. It think the differing finish as well as the depth of the subdials and dials gives a bit of dimensionality that allows me to read the hands more readily.
