That ring of rust around the rehaut would worry me - water damage? and if so what has it done to the movement, which conveniently is not pictured. I think it is the kind of item that you need to see in person and fully examine before buying. Too much of a risk if it is similar to e-bay etc.
Something is not right with this. General condition is average although quite a nice DON bezel. However what worries me is that the dial is from a 105.003 and the case is from a 105.012 so which is it? The bracelet is not original I don't recognise the number as a Speedmaster bracelet and the 633 end links are from the 1980's so perhaps the bracelet is a well. No movement pictures are a worry as well so I would pass. (Unless it is very cheap!). The auction starting price is around £8500.00 so not cheap, also having a closer look at the pictures the dial worries me.
Is £8500.00 cheap these days for this type of watch, I must be way out of touch! I wonder what it will actually sell for?
Coincidence, the unsold watch is subject to a thread here and within a few hours has been sold. Good luck to the buyer, hope everything turns out okay
So the buyer was really just buying a dial as there was very little or no information or images of the inside of the Watch.
The bezel has a good deal of value, and the case and caseback have some decent value as parts as well. Even if the movement is complete garbage your paying 6k usd or so for the dial. Put it in a nice Ed White that has a shitty dial and sell it at Christies for 40k
