Greetings from Romania!

Hello everybody. I'm Paul and I've been riding around here with my training wheels on, so to speak.
So far I've owned nothing special. I'm looking to make my first big boy purchase regarding watches in the months to come, after I sort out some college related business. I have a penchant for toolwatches and anything military or military-esque, though I know how to appreciate other pieces. Watch collecting is a bit tougher when you're self sponsored and on a student budget but that makes it even more satisfying. Thrill of the chase, I guess.

This forum has greatly matured the watch collector in me and I had to take a moment to thank everybody here for helping and answering even my most stupid questions. Advice from someone who's been in this domain longer than me is invaluable. Gladly, not everything COVID-19 related is negative, thanks to the break I've gotten I had some time to spend on here. I hope you are all safe.

I have one small question, how formal should one be on here when addressing another? I don't want to sound disrespectful when talking to another member.

Thank you for your kind words! English is not my mother tongue, Romanian is. They do share the odd similarity here and there but nothing substantial, Romanian being a Latin language. I grew up watching westerns and that definitely contributed!
