I noticed that some 70's speedmasters have green patina on them. Does the green patina eventually turn yellow or is it something in the tritium they used in the 70's that give them a greenish hue? I dont remember seeing any pre moon speedies with green lume.

It's funny how an article of clothing or the right choice of strap can bring out highlights or otherwise complement your watch.

....'cause its all about the watch, right?

Looks similar to my (1984) speedy...
I just think it's the process of developing the patina and will eventually go brownish or orange ish colour?
Something to do with uv light denotes the colour apparently but if could just be the batch of tritium used too I guess

It's the phosphorous compound, not tritium, that changes the colour, and it can turn greenish, yellowish, brownish or darkish depending on the batches, factories or the environment. I does happen sometimes on pre-moon too, as well as on other models and later luminova materials.

Different colour shades can appear on the same watches too, like yours.

So when it turns green does it mean theres no chance for it to turn yellow anymore?
