Just ordered this green leather omega band, owner says its NOS and never been worn, still malleable and soft so he says. (it looks a bit worn, but either way it looks decent to me. Its more green than the photos looked.
im excited to get it, itll look great on my 14k 14382 rail track.

You must be careful with older leather... I had a NOS strap that I conditioned and it still split where the springbar closed. So even though it's malleable, you still have to condition it.

Fortunately crocodile ages much better than calf does, but make sure you are liberal with the leather conditioner.

This is the product that I prefer. Wll not permanently darken.

Thats great advice thank you!

I do not plan on wearing it much to be honest.
Ill be sure to order a bottle of conditioner anyway, thanks for the advice

It's intended for things like watch straps, belts, purses, briefcases... the finer leathers. Not shoes.

Update,
Got it today, it looks nice, a little more green than i expected but its in great shape no signs of wear.
I had it to put it on at least once.
Though i plan on using it on a different piece, here it is on my 14381

As somebody before me already wrote: Those NOS leather straps are awesome, but the ones I had/have were very vulnerable at the seams were the spring bars are being put through.
