    Does anyone still have the green hologram sticker on their case back? My buddy gave me his Sub 16610 to fix and he still had the sticker on it. The hologram has worn off but it's still there. Haha. Just curious if anyone else has one on still. This one is from 1999 I believe.

    Yeah, I see that pretty often, but it seems ridiculous to me. I can understand keeping it on an unworn NOS example, but not if you're wearing the watch. What's the point?

    As soon as I get a watch all the stickers are removed... and replaced by cling wrap.

    I also see that quite often on used ones for sale. Like others, I always considered it stupid, like keeping the brand tag on the sleeve of a suit, or the sticker on a brim of a cap.

    But people do all those things because they think it looks “cool” — especially the sticker on the brim of a cap thing.
