This one? I believe its production ended ~2007??? @Archer would know. I would not put the vintage label on it yet... it is a good looking watch!

Assuming the contributor above is joking, I think you can assume that many don't consider the SMP GMTs as vintage just yet. I probably don't ether to be fair. Everyone will have a different cut off but I see anything after the 1994 intro of the Bond SMP as modern and anything before as Vintage. Arbitrary I know.

    Ahhh, great white Omega GMT...

My feelings are that it has to be 25 years old or older to be considered vintage. maybe even 30 or older..

Hmm my SMP related policy kind of fits with Varnados at 23 years...

Probably not. IIRC that white dialed Seamaster GMT was introduced in 1998, so they wouldn't be quite 20 y/o yet.

Not quite. The black dial GMT was introduced in 1998 (and engraved to mark the 50th anniversary of the Seamaster), the Great White was a few years later in fact, 2002 or so if memory serves and ran to 2007 as noted above.

BTW, we don't see many of these for sale...they must be holding well with their owners.

I really want to love this watch but something about it doesn't click. I haven't seen on in the metal so maybe that's the problem but pics of it make it look cheap... or something. Can't quite put my finger on it. I think the lack of contrast on the dial maybe. I also generally dislike steel colored bezels. (Black Bay Steel, Explorer II etc)

I really wish Omega made a GMT version of the 2254. Black dial, black aluminum insert bezel with 24hr scale etc. If it had a non-AC dial all the better!

The great white (25382000) has great contrast in real life - the hands stand out well. Just finished servicing one.

Omega does make a black GMT as well, so this is as close to the GMT version of the 22545000 as you will get, the 25345000:

I'm in the 30 years or older camp, to be considered vintage.
