That is very cool. So the red hand rotates around 1 time per 24 hours? what uses are you going to have for the GMT hand? I'm wearing my 2254 today, awesome style

Honestly, I bought this watch for the look and the cool complication. Not sure what use I'll have for it unless I start travelling more often in that regard. I just think it is a stunning piece of design.

With modern Smartphones the need for complications like this is virtually obselete in my opinion, but any suggustions for use will be welcome! ::confused2::

You don't need any functional reason to buy Great White except for its beauty. ;)

It's one of the only watches that I've flipped and miss. The dial is amazing IRL and the black trim and red on the hands make them pop off the dial.

Has to be added to the want list! Love the great white!

    Congrats!

The GMT function uses the red hand and the outer bezel numbers for the timezone hour. and the normal hour hand is the time at your location.

Quick question, how legible do you find these? I would imagine white hands on a white dial make them difficult to read....

The black outline in the hands makes it easy to read. Loved mine.

This thread is making me want one again! I sold it because I have another GMT and I found the bezel really hard to grip and turn - that was my only gripe. Since then, I've heard from others that the tension in the bezel can be adjusted.

In my experience they loosen up over time. Sometimes to a fault... :p

I've had the "great white" on my list for quite some time now, but it never seemed to be the right moment... Who know, maybe one day I'll get it, but until then I'm enjoying my 2254
