Below are some photos of my Great Grandfathers Watch that I just inherited on my wedding day last month. The family don't know much about it except that it was given to him as a 21st birthday present. It has been fully restored and is in perfect condition.

Could anyone help with some information?
    Year it was made?
    Model type?
    What it's made of?
    Value?

Anything would be helpful. Thank you.

Please don't try to open it yourself either, you will damage it without the correct tool and technique and it looks quite well kept. Get a watchmaker to open it and photograph the case back and movement. Given your location I'm going to hazard a guess that it's one of the Dennison cases watches from the U.K.

+1 to what Ash said, both the watch case & the case it comes in look like its a UK watch, manual wind, one of the 30mm movements. Bonus original gold buckle, crown may have been changed...
For value, please see the chart below.

Great Grandfather's watch = extremely priceless
    Grandfather's watch = priceless
Father's watch = Too valuable to sell

Great family heirloom in a fantastic display box! I'm a big fan of that style of Omega box. I just wished they had made them a tad longer for watches with long straps.

The buckle is hall marked for 9ct Birmingham
    (Points to Dennison)
If you can identity the date letter (too blurry) you can date the buckle
Assuming it is original it should help approximately date the watch

    Priceless :D
Shouldn't the scale go the other way around, though? :)

Looking at the back of the watch, what is the stamp at the top left lug?

Looks like the typical "9" and "375" to indicate 9k gold.

It is lovely. I always find full numeral markers charming.

Beautiful watch, it looks like it has been kept in very good shape. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos of it.
