Dear friends please i need your help once more to identify an old gold 18k Omega.I would like to know if it s a rare piece or not. is my great-grandfather's watch, born in 1881 in Poland, emigrated to Brazil in 1891 and married there in 1902. May I know where you bought it? In which country at least?

Not super rare, pocket watches were like the iPhone of their era, Omega was very good at making them and made a huge number of them. They weren’t cheap so people took care of them, as a result pretty much every family has several handed down pocket watches but most are not Omega quality, I only had a Cyma and a Gallet. Gold is definitely less common and quite cool though, great piece of family history to have.

It's rare because it was your great-grandfathers. It does not matter otherwise.
