Since the Holiday season is upon us, and shipping/stock might be of an issue, I thought it might be nice for people to share their favorite products of the year.

Perhaps this will allow for some early holiday shopping to avoid the rush!

So some of the products I have been very happy with.

https://www.bostonscally.com/

A great source for a Flat hats. I ordered 2 from them this year and had a great experience. No hassle returns for any reason as well. (I ordered too small.) Lots of different styles out there.

I've also been very impressed with the products at carved.com . Great unique phone cases, wireless phone chargers, and other products made from burled wood and different colors of resin. Looks great and unique, plus the phone case is well made and gives decent protection without being bulky. I am on my 2nd as my original was replaced outside of warranty due to a known defect that was corrected in later versions of the case.

Ridge wallets, while all slim wallets have the problem with elegantly getting a single card out if it is in the middle, I am really really impressed with mine, and after a few months of awkwardness getting rid of the traditional wallet and feelings something was missing, I am all aboard the slim wallet train.

If you are into great and very expensive leather goods like heirloom suitcases with 100-year warranties,
www.saddlebackleather.com is a great website to get lost in for a while.

This should be a good start... I'll add some lower-priced stuff from Amazon later.

Interesting

I had bought the Secrid wallet, wayyyyyy back when you could only buy them from the Netherlands. Red dot design award, RFID safe case, etc, etc. Since then, they're now everywhere and I notice their core card wallet design has been copied in China and my local drugstore had them for $10. No idea if they're as well built, of course. I dropped my Secrid wallet a bajillion times and it still works 100%.

Pre-covid, I took transit all the time and the mech for getting out the cards and using the top card as the transit card worked wonders. I had so many people ask me where I got it.

Not a new product, but a super well designed one.

I got an Andar Diplomat wallet for my anniversary - very well made:

My wife has been carrying The Denner in blush for the past year and it still looks like new, even with no cleaning.

Just ordered a case and mag-safe charger. Their products look great.

It's not a new product but it was a hit.

I have a recommendation along the same lines. It is great for keeping the aging body moving. My wife and I are in our 40s and both active. This device allows you to pinpoint muscle / tendon problems and work them out. My wife has had neck and hamstring problems for years, she uses this everyday and has made significant improvements. I play soccer and end up with little injuries and problems regularity. I used to use a foam roller regularly, but this is better. It allows you to pinpoint so much better.

I didn’t know this existed: a cuff with space for your watch. This might be nice for someone wearing shirts a lot. If you just spent $15,000 on Hodinkee pre-owned buying a Domino’s pizza dial Airking you certainly want people to see it

The idea of a watch strap over part of a cuff is a non-starter for me. I get what they are trying to do, but that just seems weird.

I’ve heard of French cuffs but never the douche cuff before.

Haha the douche cuff is a good name. Maybe it’s not for expensive watches to be shown but to make your Seiko SKX fit even if you wear a tight shirt

As Xmas hoves into view maybe some selections better suited to us forum crew....

Talking of black Friday deals a talking watch accurate to within a second every 138,000 years.... is telling you it is time to buy....and going chirpy chirpy cheap, cheap this birdsong clock is going for a song. ... No buyers remorse from me on these. I still regret missing out on that rampant mackerel ashtray... Happy weekend everyone.
