This is now on Intagram, so I think there is no issue to share it...
For all rolex collector I think they will understand the value of this barn find... The entire lot was staying in a desk for many year and seller even didn't know his father has this... Sounds like a nice story for the buyer... The old treasure is found...

I'm not a Rolex collector, but that appears to be a whole lot of money in those photos!! Anybody care to put a number on it?

I'd say that it's a pretty hefty chunk towards that guys retirement account. Too bad it's not a pile of COMEX dials though - then he could probably retire now ;-)

Sorry, looks like I spelled it wrong. It's from South Park, in an episode where the Loch Ness monster is constantly asking people for money:

Chef’s dad: It stood above us looking down with these big red eyes…
Chef’s mom: Oh it was so scary!

Chef’s dad: And I yelled, I said “What do you want from us monster?!”
And the monster bent down and said “I need about tree fiddy.” [silent pause]

Kyle: What’s tree fiddy?

Chef’s dad: Three dollars and fifty cents.

Chef’s mom: Tree fiddy.

I remember that South Park. 👍

All those Rolex dials look like future frankenwatches to me.

I don't understand why old dial will lead to Franckenwatch... Especially with such very rare dial costing several thousand each...

frankenwatch or not, these dials are awesome. Instead of sitting in the drawers, it should be on a watch for its own adventure!

Given the extremely high value vintage subs command with this type of aged dial, it's not unreasonable to suspect someone might take one, put into into a newer case with newer movement... Voila... Franken vintage that 'could' be passed off for something that it isn't. In a world full of desire and greed, it isn't hard to imagine that some unscrupulous individual somewhere will try to make a huge undeserved profit from these dials.

that Would Never passed... Execpt if the buyer is a total noobs and is this case I don't think he will go for a 5508 ... For me this dial will be buy by the top Rolex vintage collector or shop that will use them the best way.

Fingers crossed that they will end up where they should.

Holy 🤬. Deposit on a house with these dials alone.
