To me this is a interesting pocket watch that belonged to my Grandpa. Depollier on the dial Paul Ditisheim high grade movement with a 18k hand engraved case. I think Depollier was a jeweler in NY Judging by other watches that Grandpa owned he selected nice watches
It appears to be a fairly high grade movement the case is from dubois in 18k a swing out case not too shabby of a watch I do not think the hands are original the hour and minute hands do not match the second hand which is plum in color like the color of the old howard hands. One day I will have this one fixed up. She runs fine but who knows when this thing was last serviced Bad picture of the movement the movement really sparkles From articles I have read Depollier was president of the Dubois watch case company I understand that connection How did Paul Didisheim fit in to the mix I do not know
