    Hi,

I've recently inherited my grandpas old watch. I really want to get it serviced/tidied up. Someone suggested I try posting some photos here and might get pointed in the right direction.

The number on the movement is hard to make out in the photo but definitely says 355, although I've been told this doesnt line up.

Can anyone tell me some more information about the watch and where in Perth, Australia I can get it serviced and replace some parts with genuine Omega (crown and sapphire)?

I understand that the watch carries more sentimental than monetary value but I would really like to get it serviced/repaired by someone who will treat it with the same respect and care that I would.

Can't wait to get it on a leather strap and wear it proudly!

The bridge was replaced from the 351 with a bridge marked 355. It's the only explanation.

You must be right, Dennis. But I would still like to see the dial side of that movement ;)
