Grandad’s watch.

Recently had these brought back to life by my local watchmaker. My grandfathers 1926 Illinois my fathers 1968 Bulova. All original. I can remember my dad taking this off every night after work, giving it a few winds and hanging it on a wooden watch stand. Neither were elite time pieces in their period, but excellent examples of what American watchmaking produced in its heyday.

Very nice. These were the working man's watches indeed. Also love the case on the Illinois 👍

These were excellent watches in their day and still great by any standard. I think wrist shots are in order.
