·Just delivered yesterday. I really like it.
But the one thing I knew I probably would not like is the GS Clasp. I was right when I got it - it just feels cheap. So I ordered up this Strapcode clasp from Amazon. Ordered last night and it was on my porch before 7am. That's just amazing... Before work, I switched clasps and this turns out to be an upgrade. This clasp is not cheap and not pressed like the GS clasp. The description says it's 316 steel with a really nice glide lock type extension to fine tune the wearing experience.
I recommend this clasp from AZ/Strapcode. It might work for other Seiko GS watches. It's nice the Seiko bracelet has straight 18mm endlinks to fit this aftermarket clasp.
One last advantage is that I can set aside the GS clasp so it will never get scratched up and look brand new.
