Gorgeous minty condition. I'm going over it with a loupe and the worst I can see is as follows: - Small discoloration on the dial around the 1~2 minute mark. - Some small blemishes, specially around the 31 minute mark, mostly invisible to the naked eye. - Hairline contact marks on the body, very faint; it would polish just fine but I'm leaving it alone. - Some wear on the 18k gold medallion on the back, which is normal. - Strap is in superb shape. I have a 7" wrist, it fits me snugly on the third to the last hole. Based on the serial this should be a '69. A great value for $900 plus actual shipping. Rather than crudely reinvent the wheel here are some good write-ups on this and other Seikos: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f304/grand-seiko-6146-8000-review-191567.html https://grandseikohistoric.squarespace.com/ http://www.roachman.com/private.html I have been on ebay for 17 years (oh the memories...) and belong to other fora where this sort of transactions are common; I'm pretty confident I can provide enough references to satisfy your concerns.
Anyone who uses the correct plural of "forum" gets my vote. Nice watch, not for me as I remain tightly focused, but I like it. Good Luck!
