Hello there!
I´m Neto, from Brazil. I´d like to know about my Grand Prix Paris 1900 Autenticity. And maybe something about value. It´s a Dad´s gift.

Could you help me? Thanks!

It looks like a very nice caliber 19 - or 19 like if the movement is smaller than about 42 cm. The case appears to be genuine 18k solid gold.

Everything looks genuine from the pics you sent. The hour hand is broken.

By the way, the prize has not been won by this particular watch: as other brands, Omega used this prizes in many watches in a commercial purpose.

Concerning the value, this watch is very nice and, if it is a cal 19, it has some strong history. It has anyway some real value. But as a pocket watch with a nice but common caliber, its value will be closely related to the gold content.

Mr. Pépin,
Thanks a lot for your comments. It makes me very happy and proud about having a piece like this. It´s a family jewellery and it´s so pleasant to admire it working. Thanks for the precious informations and congratulations for your knowledge about this issue.
Best Regards! Saludos de Brazil! Saudações do Brazil!
Neto.

Watch was made around 1910.

Serial numbers of both movement and case confirm this.

Beautiful watch.
