Interesting watch, what's the case ref.? Diamond set waffle dial with the old "chronometre" spelling, no "Constellation"script, applied symbol and printed "Omega". In platinum you say, but what about those hands, they look yellow or pink in the photo, definitely not white.......many questions beyond my knowledge here, I think more pictures would be very helpful...inside case back, movement calibre and serial numbers and also case back pictures
Very interesting! Looking forward to further pictures of case back, etc as Cristos says Welcome to OF, Martin.
Cool watch. Not your garden variety Omega! We need pictures of the innards! Just don't damage anything. Welcome to the club Michel
@Martin 123 Hi martin. Could be a ref Ot 14.325 deluxe chronometer. Cal 28.10 RA 354. Mid 1950s. A yellow gold waffle dial version can be seen on page 267 of omega a journey through time. Agree with Cristos re hands. But doesn't appear to be a constellation and the script and spelling of chronometre are in line with the example in AJTT. PS I think we spoke last Saturday about this watch. The conversation started as I was wearing a rose gold deluxe. Very nice watch. Cheers Bill
View attachment 436514 Hi members. I have this grand luxe platinum honeycomb dial with full diamond markers have any of you seen another similar? View attachment 436514
Hi members. I'd like to know if there are any of you who has any knowledge on this particular grand luxe platinum honeycomb diamond dial of around 1954. The only one that comes close is one that was sold in antiquorum 2009 similar but lugs going outward and not full diamond dial.
Nice watch - and box. When you bring your 2915 to the watchmaker, bring this too and have them open it - take good pics of the inside (also of inside of the caseback) and post them here. Then I'm sure the OF experts can tell you something about it. Oh, and dibs
Hi Cristos . I was only basing it on one that was sold on 10th may 2009 antiquorum. Catalogued as a grand luxe. Mine is almost identical to that one. It's the honeycomb diamond dial which makes it a little different to the ones you kindly sent pics of.
Martin You have some of the most amazing barn find watches out there, give the gang at STS my best The 2915 is out of this world and your connie is something else!
@Martin 123, you keep on bringing surprises to the table I think it is time you made a thread with your entire collection..!
