Indy was no slouch, but when it comes to chasing grails, I am not sure he could have bested the old man from scene 24. ::stirthepot::

    Hi @tyrantlizardrex

Can i make an educated guess Sir ? It may be off the mark but at least i would have gain some experience sparing with the Big Boys [emoji109]
That scene was from a movie i saw 5 x[IMG]released in 1989 which means an Omega Holy grail produced somewhere in the late eighties for only short while that's worth a Re-editioning ala SM 300 MC or CK2998 LE[IMG]● It's a Lemania 5100 movement , the closest an automatic would ever come to the Moonwatch ● Ref 376.0822 were produced from 1987-1989 ●You may have the full package which means the watch came with Omega's President bracelet ref 1450 ● The watch doesnt even have it's own damn manual instruction book but provided with a Speedy Mark V instead[IMG]Ok. I'm done[emoji14]

I like your powers of deduction @meganfox17 however, I am just being a little silly.

The term "Grail" has been bandied about so much in the last couple of weeks... I thought there should be an actual Grail post... ;)

By the way Ref 376.0822 is a highly sought after "Holy Grail" & I certainly would like to own the Lemania 5100 based movement. This is a watch that Omega should be reissuing as a limited edition series[emoji4]

Although you'd think he could take better pictures if he expects a £6,500 starting bid... ::facepalm1::

I just don't get the 'grail' Speedy. Nice look for sure but the movement is basically Swatch by Fisher-Price. Why Maddox fell in love with it I will never understand.

I can see the appeal... I just don't think it's as "special" as some people choose to believe.

Certainly not worth £6,500 to me... that's more than I spent on my TinTin, APNEA, Speedsonic, and split seconds combined... and I like each of those more than Chuck's Grail.

Different strokes, for different folks. ;)
