my grandpa received this watch as present for graduating in college back in 1969, and since then was his dress watch. Last year he got a skin allergy that makes really harder to him to use any jewelry. Because of this, he decided to give this watch to me. According to Watch ID app, i have a Rolex Date 115200-0006, but this watch is from before 1988, so it should be another model. Unfortunately, the date window is really dirty and i can’t change the day by turning the crown. The last revision this watch had was in the 80s. Can someone identify it, and give me a suggestion of my next step with it? i know i need to get it revised, and a new bracelet will be needed, because the one here has the links really stretched
the bracelet model is 7205

The bracelet has a 1967 date code, and the watch looks consistent with that. I'd guess that the reference is 1500. If you remove the bracelet, the reference number and serial number will be between the lugs at top and bottom. You will need a full service. Regarding the bracelet, restoration is an option, because it's a nice bracelet. You are looking at roughly $500-$1000 USD for the service (depending on what repairs are needed and where the work is done) and $500 for restoring the bracelet or more like $1000 for a modern replacement bracelet.

The movement could be a calibre 1530 which does not have a quick change calendar.

in the space between the lugs above the 12 hour it says 1500, but i ended needing to set day turning the crown in position 4 (position 3 doesn’t seen to exist on it) like the 1530, so maybe it was turned into a frankwatch?
and now it is looking way better without the destroyed bracelet (probably i will put a leather strap or a rubber one until i find watchmaker in my country that can rebuild it)

Watch reference is 1500 and the movement should be a 1570 (technically a 1575, but it would say 1570 on the rotor bridge) The 1575 movement is not quickset, so to change the date you need to move the hands past 12AM. There is no third (or fourth) crown position. Like Dan says, you should tighten that bracelet and not replace it. But a strap also works. You can send the watch to rolliworks and they will service and tighten the bracelet. Be careful with polishing it as you can thin out the lugs. Probably a good idea to service it since it’s been so long.

That looks awesome! Hopefully you can have it restored and wear it well!
