Thanks everyone here in the Omega Forum for helping me spent lots of money within a short period of time!!! Lol .

As per the vote in the link below, my 42 mm PO 8500 finally arrived. I tried on the new 2016 but it looks too big on my wrist. So here is my everyday watch starting today onward. I love the look and the feel of it. Its seems to be off only about 1-2 sec per day. I picked this watch over a black Rolex GMT and feels like i save lots of money for the quality. Love it and thanks for all the good suggestions.

Nice choice! Love the 8500 POs, great every day watches! 8500 is one of my all time fav calibres to own. Super accurate, durable, and with a jumping hour hand! [emoji16][emoji1360]

I got a rubber off eBay that's a knockoff. Needless to say it's not going on the watch.
The nato is a third party strap too. Someone mentioned a hirsch strap, they look nice.
I'd like an original rubber and deployant but it's a good chunk of cash.

Thinking buying a rubber strap from ebay as well? Why was it not good? Does it look so cheap on the watch?

The one I bought was advertised as just a strap and deployant and actually turned out to be a counterfeit oem kit. Poor quality clasp and the strap was a little rough around the edges but I'd rather not trust my watch to some Chinese rubbish.

Honestly the OEM is worth the price. The clasp will last just about forever, the strap is awesome and super comfortable. I wear my PO two ways: on OEM bracelet and on OEM rubber. Nothing else even comes close, especially when you add the adjustable clasp from the Seamaster 300.

Good choice. I'm sure there are many other equally good watches out there, but you cannot go wrong with what you got, either. (Don't you love those orange colored numerals on a black dial?) Congrats!

The 42mm is an excellent choice. Love my old 2500 which is still running great. I switch the bracelet out with the OEM black rubber strap with OEM deployant clasp periodically. The rubber strap is very comfortable.
