Gotta be closer to 20mm to fit proper, right? Looks to be 18-19mm.

Have the end links been reduced in size?
I'm sure I will be corrected but is strap 16mm, Lug width on 105.003 19mm, I'm guessing your end links are 17.5-18mm looking at picture.
I'm envious because I only have a Forstner Komfit!

PS - grow your thumb nail a bit longer then easier to undo the clasp!

Its not getting it off thats fiddly its adjusting it to get it on wrist, seems two man job??
Its v comfortable on my wrist though, had it on all day, feels like a leather one??
Nice and light, same as the 1039 one.

Nice pick up. You will soon enjoy it. Remain calm, and JB on!

First...You do have the correct JB Champion. It is the same you saw posted in all the images I put up. The end pieces are spring loaded and they can be compressed down to 16mm and can expand as wide as 19mm. When fully expanded you will see that the 19mm is the perfect fit for the 19mm lug width of the 105.003. The end pieces are not expanding all the way as you can see in the picture. Look below at the picture you posted and you can see that the end piece on the left side of the has not expanded fully as the other side has. These are old and yours may be a bit dirty inside. I would pull it off and soak it in some hot soapy water and brush the end links. Then gently wiggle and depress the end pieces and bet they free up. A small bit of oil or WD-40 will probably free it up and the bracelet will be fine. Unless there is a problem internally you can most likely free this up. Also, sometimes the thickness of the spring bars makes it a bit tight to fully expand.

Second...I hated the JB at first because I could not figure out how to open the clasp and get it on. I totally agree it is a two man job if you are not use to it. That I why I thought you saw them most commonly on the Apollo missions because I knew it had to take two other guys to get one bracelet on the other.

Be sure you are detaching the clasp from the fixed hook that slides along the mesh. You unhook the clasp by pushing the little square down and the clasp will unhook from the fixed part. I was trying to flip open the fixed part to slide the bracelet tight until I figured it out. You would not be the first, or last, to do it this way if that is how you are adjusting it. As you can see in the picture below you unhook the clasp, pull down and back to tighten it and them pull it up to hook on the fixed part if that makes sense. Once you get this down you will be surprised how easy it is to get on.

Brill advice man!, I have Sussed the bracelet adjustment now:p but trying to expand link as made it fall apart!!!
I see there is a tiny spring that fits into the two holes on a sliding link. Will try to fix in morning. For something that didn't cost a lot when new, it's got a lot of ingenuity in it.
Hope I can fix ok!! ::shy::

Glad you got it to adjust properly. I hope you can sort out the spring issue.

For something that didn't cost a lot when new, it's got a lot of ingenuity in it....Yea, just a little bit of ingenuity going on.

Your local jeweler might lead you to one. Might try a hardware store as well .

You will have to take all measurements prior to ordering a spring. That would be the way to go when no one has one available.
