I didn’t want much done cosmetically unless it was functionally important, and Tim (OmegaAddict) did a perfect job servicing without impacting the watch’s 71 year old charm.
Crystal was replaced and so was the crown (it was brutally worn down) but nothing else exterior… hands, indices, dial, case, everything is as it was in 1953. It did need a new mainspring.
I never knew a thing watch could wind so smoothly!
