Enjoy!

What part of the world are you located in? It's amazing that you got a complete service with replaced parts by Omega in one month unless I'm reading it wrong.
Thank you! It’s really weird I requested it to be sent to Swiss and 1 month might be a rough estimation more like a month and a half but they quoted me 3-4 months . I’m in the Netherlands

I have one question though I sometimes see watches getting back from service being returned with a cosc certificate of how accurate it keeps time , I did not get that was I supposed to ?

You won't get a COSC certificate, but sometimes you get a card showing what the average rate was after testing.

So how much was the actual service and additional parts NOT including the cost of the watch? Just curious.

Oof, so almost twice what it cost to buy again to restore it, and with a total spend exceeding the market value. From a financial perspective, definitely a mistake. But hey, got there in the end, and now OP's got a nice watch with a funny story and that's one more good condition Peter Blake in the world.

Glad I am intending to keep it haha and you are right story attached 😂 but still I can’t find these models for 1600-1700 in good condition except for maybe quartz ? Where do you find these?

Not exactly sure where you're getting the 1600-1700 from my comment, do you mean my "almost twice what it cost to buy" statement? If so, I just meant your initial outlay was 1200 EUR, then you spend 2300 EUR to fix and restore, which is almost twice what you originally paid.

In terms of my "total spend exceeding the market value" comment, Chrono24 puts the average sale value of a 2254.50 at $4500 AUD, or around 2700 EUR. Yours having been completely overhauled and now with a warranty should be able to command at least that, probably a bit more, especially if you have the original box and papers. So let's call it roughly 3000 EUR? Unfortunately, you've spent 3500 EUR to get there, hence you may have been better off just buying an already sorted example for 3000 EUR. But at the end of the day, since you don't plan to sell, it's really not that important.

I had literally no history with the watch itself so I’m quite happy 😌

And that is what matters. I spent more than the watch was worth on a more recent 3523.80, overhaul and new dial, but I love it so it was worth it.
