Last week, I finally got a 1967 Rolex GMT 1675 with the small arrow hand. Perhaps one of the last few before Rolex changed the GMT hand with the bigger arrow head. It is in unmolested condition with a very nice dial and faded fat font bezel. The patina on the hour plots and hands matches in color. The original folded link bracelet is still quite tight with no visible dent. My friend who owned this watch for long finally decided to sell so he could buy a 2018 Rolex GMT with jubilee bracelet. Another great addition to my collection.
Thanks to all. Getting a good example is much harder these days so I’m pretty lucky my friend decided to sell.
Beautiful watch. Damn i seriously gotta get me one of these asap. The prices are getting out of hand!!
Just curious what first few numbers of serial number are and I believe that is a Blue Back Insert.. Lovely example
You are right about the bezel Varnado..I got the watch for a good price so there is room to purchase the correct bezel, that is, if I can find one.. The serial I cannot recall but the back case I believe is stamped 2nd quarter of 1967. Let me check the serial again.
Very nice! Lovely insert. The patina is awesone and the condition of the case seems to be great. Congratulations and wear it in good health!
Oh wow, that patina is quite something. The watch shows character and seems to have worn very well. Great job, wear it well!
