.....and I needed some TOOL TIME! So I made a rack for my pliers and two racks for tweezers and pokey tools. A chunk of 90mmx45mm pine, a drop saw, a router, a drill press, a sander and some stain/lacquer and time spent in the man cave, what better way to celebrate hump day (it's actually every day for me ). Before anybody panics, the tweezers tubes have little pills of high density closed cell foam in the bottom to protect the tips. So much more efficient having a place to reach for them rather than floating around on the bench or in a drawer. I think I need a new drop saw, one with a LASER!
Those are great!! It must be nice to be crafty/handy like that. I have no such aptitude. My father built stuff out of old paneling, wire coathangers (did you see my headphone hanger in the nerd thread?), hot melt glue, and Popsicle sticks, so I didn't learn much from him in that regard.
I am impressed. I wish I could do this. I have 1 pair of pliers but about 12 tweezers. I use a Dumont and a Bergeon tweezer case and they work well for me.
Since there are no photos to provide evidence of the step-by-step building process, makes think you got those from your local The Warehouse store... ...but they look good
After managing to get home with a new tool yesterday I figured it was time to use it. So today my Ryobi One+ tools now have a new home.
You have the genes of my father and his father before him (that somehow mutated into other areas with me)...lovely to see!
