Hey guys. I posted about my Speedy being broke a few days ago. Story was, I found a nice service center in a affluent mall in my city and they had good experience with omega and other quality brands. Since i was greatly recommended i decided to give it a shot. The watchmaker was very, very quick on servicing on the watch as they don't have much work these days with automatic or manual watches (mostly people wanting to change their Casio's battery these days). I gave him the watch on Saturday and today got a SMS to go and pick it up (so quickly?). And here it is, working (as it seems) and clean. So check it out.

    Before Servicing:

So i decided to put it a nice leather strap and thankfully the watchmaker left hands, bezels, crown, everything untouched (i think). Here it is. PLEASE tell me if you see anything odd:

I've been thinking of getting a brand new speedmaster by giving away this one, but i don't know if that is a notion that is crazy enough. Also, i'm on the chase of a Rolex GMT Master Pepsi, pre-owned of course. Is that a possibility for the value of this watch or i will have to cough up too much cash? Or it's sacrilege to give away this timepiece with interesting historic value for a newer watch? What would you do?

Really good to hear that there are still people who do (apparently) good work quickly. Can you tell us who did it?

A watch cannot be serviced in four days for the simple reson that there is no time to tune it after the lubrication has settled down.
