Got a new (to me) Omega

I've been pining after a watch housing the Beta 21 caliber for a while now, and I've recently added a SS Omega Electroquartz from 1972 to the collection, featuring the 1301 caliber (Beta 21, second version from the 1300 with improved electronic module). These were definitely cool early quartz watches and were pretty expensive for their time. These slab/Pupitre cases sit quite proud on the wrist, but actually wear very comfortably considering how thick the Beta 21 movement is. I love the buttery smooth sweep of the seconds hand that's put out by the vibrating motor module. The bracelet is very hefty but comfortable - and I love the red surrounding the Omega logo mirrored with the red date window.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.
