So against my better judgement I sold my completely vintage but beat up 165.024 (serviced, sans bracelet) for just over $4100. I am starting to regret it. Any chance I can get another one (preferably in good shape) with that money? Took me almost a year to source mine.

    Edit:
Wait a minute - with that money I can get into a SM300 re-issue right?

Yep, if you're patient, used ones are starting to dip below the $4000 mark. They don't come up for sale that often yet, but one will soon.

Of course, new ones were often on offer for $4300.... maybe try @Kringkily, see if he can get one for around that level

Or you can build your own if you're fast.

Ah my bad, thought "re-issue" meant the new Master Co-Axial. Looks like the Watchcos are starting to hit mid-3's now though

I did mean Master Co Axial ;) Currently not interested in WatchCos unless the prices goes down to SMP levels.

Good deal then :) I'd say the best course of action would be to set a WatchRecon alert - they don't go fast until they're below $4k.

If you like vintage maybe you should get the 2913 the new on is based on. This one is on my some day list.

I think you will have a hard time finding new Master Co-Axial for 4,1k, more like 4,3-4,5k

Naw, right now you can have an early, lollipop-hand 2913 on original bracelet for less than 10k. I'd say one like that posted would be maybe 8, if the bracelet were original (7912 / 6)

You can have one new from a grey seller for US $4300, but used ones are dipping below US$ 4000. They do go quickly at that price, though.

Original estimate may be more accurate. If you have an example as good as the on pictured with a 7912/6 bracelet, I would like to offer you the $8k right now. ;)

If I had an example like that, I'd offer myself $8k right now!

    ...wait

Yeah, you're probably right. There's that LunarOyster 2913 lollipop that I based my estimate on, but the lume on that one isn't particularly desirable so maybe the "bad lume" discount is stronger on that one than I thought.
