Was sold quickly:

Overall nice looking -69 (some issues with the bezel, a tiny spot at 8. crown maybe wrong) but with a 1039/516 (full length) sold for 4600USD after a short time

No movement / inner caseback shots but returnable and a seller with a very good feedback

Did someone here buy it? Did I miss something?

I am very thankful that it had already been sold by the time I woke up and saw it in my alerts, because I would have had a very hard time not buying it even though I really can't add more to my collection until my Autavia and Speedmaster find new homes. This was really well-bought IMO at least under current conditions, but it may seem expensive if we're all eating rice and beans months from now!

1) Man that was shipped fast!

2) Normally, whatever - get a good deal on eBay, flip it, I don't care much - though it's not a great look to be doing it immediately. At least wear it a while to see if it's a keeper eh?

3) This guy is gonna be holding onto it for a while.... there are times when a little eBay arbitrage works, and this is not one of them. Not sure if he'll lose money, but I think the $4500+ tax he likely paid for it (4850 is my guess) is about all he'll receive.

Not a smart move

Seems like a rough time to be flipping

I feel like the seller might be better off selling the bracelet separately and then the watch as head only

I had bought this watch on ebay. However, seller cancelled saying he cannot ship internationally from NY because of Covid-19.

Then I see the same seller (if you go to his IG @daniel_gok, the website in the bio is the same as the ebay seller) post the same watch on WUS at a higher price offering worldwide FedEx insured shipping.

I have a feeling he realized he could probably get a a higher price and decided to renege on the sale. 🤔

That's very uncool. Doubt he'll get what he asks anyway. You should leave feedback and/or contact eBay customer support - he's broken the rules big-time.

Blow him up on insta for backing out of a deal.

Not good behavior. If you're not willing to ship outside the country, you need that to be a limitation in the listing.

Think that's all I can do for now, I plan to leave negative feedback.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not big enough on IG to make a ripple unfortunately.

Once a sale is canceled, I'm not sure you can even leave feedback. Maybe it depends on the details of how the sale is canceled, but this happened to me recently and I noticed that the purchase was just completely gone from my eBay account.

I am not saying this is his yelp... https://www.yelp.com/biz/collectors1946-coins-jewelry-watches-huntington

Or that this would be a good review...

"Daniel G who works for/with them ( or claims to on his instagram) backs out of ebay sales with BS excuses when they think they can get more money elsewere. Claims could not ship item out of country to the UK, when there are no restrictions." Then offers it on another website offering shipping worldwide the next day"

I also noted that most of the pictures on their website can be reverse image searched to other copy-written websites...
