Good experience with replateit

I just wanted to tell how pleased I am with the replating job for my old chronograph case done by replateit.com.
Peter did a terrific job and made it look patinated in the process, appropriate for a 70 year old watch. I was so focused on getting the watch shipped to Canada that I forgot to take a "before" picture, so you will have to deal with the eBay ad.

Now, this was a 250$ watch, and I could manage if it was lost in transit. However, it was worrisome never to receive any status update since the insured package left Denmark. I would like to hear if any of my fellow ΩF members could recommend a cost-no-object carrier with maximum safety whom I could use another time?

I was very happy with them for renewing the gold plating on this case that had almost completely disappeared.

For that level of safety and security, and cost is truly of no concern, the only option is to put it on your wrist and fly it wherever it needs to go.

I did in fact consider it. But there has to be other options. National mail carriers managed to get the case to Canada and back, but the tracking info on the way out was insufficient.
