Hi Guys
As mentioned in another thread I have a very damaged original Speedmaster DON bezel which I’m thinking of replacing with a good quality DNN.
The DON is the original on the watch and correct for Mr serial no.
Should I replace it or leave the damaged DON on it
Will it affect value either way

Hello OP,
the second bezel is also a DON bezel. The second bezel does not look legit to me, but since I am also a newbie, let's wait for some experts' opinions.

Seems we cant have to many Speedy treads and they are about the smallest changes. Are you Speedy guys never satisfied with your watches?

Curious why you created a another thread on this? You received good answers in your other threads:

I'm guessing he didn't get the advice he wanted to hear. Once someone posts that answer, we can be done with the threads.

OP: seriously, do whatever you want, DON, DNN, service, etc. It doesn't matter what anyone else says, nobody but you will ever notice the details of the bezel while you are wearing it. If you are worried about changing the value, hold onto the original bezel so you can sell it with the watch.

Thank you for your reply.
Great advice I’ll keep both
I was worried the DON was too far gone

The value of your watch will be reduced with the rough DON bezel compared to one with a perfect bezel.

But it will be reduced more by having an incorrect DNN bezel on it. By how much will vary on the buyer.

That’s what everyone has been telling you in these multiple threads. Dan S.’s advice is the best - just keep the DON and put on a DNN so it looks nice to you. Then if you decide to sell, you can put the DON back on and sell the DNN bezel.

Whatever you do, just please don’t start another thread asking for the same advice!

😀
