Good? Bad? Indifferent? Tell me about Bedat & Co. Watches

Searches have turned up little information. They seem to cater more to women. I'm wondering if Bedat is similar to Bvlgari in the sense that those watches are often criticized as being jewelry that tells time, with so-so movements etc.

Any help would be appreciated. Here's the one that revs my jets, a No. 7. The white cloud that reads "the spirit of" is a bit off-putting, and I've never seen the use of a power reserve indicator. But I'm still intrigued:

Evidently Bedat & Co. makes women's watches now, having dropped out of the men's market around 2000+/-. What little I can glean from the web is that they were high quality, expensive watches when new. It looks like Bedat made some really good looking men's watches. Their current offerings are not very attractive to my eye. The reference above keeps catching my eye, I love the orange face and the fact that it is a chrono. Two are preowned in Japan, the prices range from $1,500 to $1,300.

Orange dials get me as well. I love the seiko monster bright orange dial. This Bedat here does look interesting but I think they have too much going on in a small space. Still on occasion the odd watch will strike me so I know where you are coming from

You know that chrono hand is actually readable from 40-55 seconds.

The face is really kind of crazy, it looks like an amusement park to me. But my eye keeps going back to it anyway.
