Article gave me interest in finding an Omega curved end, deployant, black shark skin strap for my X-33. Omega does not make these anymore. Hirsch has one similar, does anyone know of other alternatives with curved ends?

    Respectable Member cicindela

Some while ago, I bought an Omega Seamaster diver mod ref 165.024 from respectable member 'flame', on behalf of a friend. That watch came with a black shark-skin band (curved ends) with an Omega deployant buckle, just like that shown attached to the pilot's.

My friend has since sold the watch but kept the band for his son. When I see him next I shall ask his son, whether or not he is interested to sell the band. If so, I shall advise you.

    Thank-you.

I should note that this the strap seen on Dr. Howard Torman's X-33 prototype.
