Anyone Else watching the Golden Globes and trying to see what watches get a little screen time? I'm trying but this is not my forte. So far all I have seen is something that looks like a Fredrique Constant Moonphase on Ryan Reynolds during the opening act with Jimmy Fallon. Pic from the interwebs
You are a patient person to watch that at all, but to even think of watching to catch a glimpse of a watch, that is just dedication.
I actually didn't watch it all. Just got at her a portion and wasn't sure if anyone else was watching. I saw a few watches but nothing I could really pick out.
I can't make that all out on my 180" 8K 360 degree 5D TV ;-). But I did see this: http://timeandtidewatches.com/watch...lobes-2017-feat-jonah-hill-and-richard-mille/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Apparently Ryan Gosling was wearing a vintage Rolex (either an old Air-King or Oyster Perpetual) and the director of La La Land was wearing a rose gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin Small Second (jeez that's a mouthful!). Gotta say I admire Gosling for wearing a 34 mm vintage Rolex to the Golden Globes while other people are wearing nonsense like that Richard Mille. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/r...2017-golden-globes-because-he-is-ryan-gosling https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/d...coultre-master-grande-ultra-thin-small-second
Good eye! I think you're right. He's a brand ambassador for Omega (usually wears a globemaster I believe).
Thanks for this post. It inspired an evening switch. I agree that Gosling is wearing a late '50's Air King. I put on my '57 Air King Date.
I started out to watch for watches, as well. But the girl's dresses distracted me. I look down on such dresses!
