I am still looking. Ideally the 1980s gold speedy, but that might be a tough one, so also looking for 1990s LE Gold Speedmaster.

no pics yet, as i will get it Wednesday.

I may also need to sell of the vintage Ploprof and the beater -71 to cover this one.

A few hints. 1990s era, only came on leather strap with gold folding clasp, reference starts with "BA" 😀 and it is a limited edition.

(emphasis mine)

Hmm, that skeleton Jubilee 27 CHRO C12 that just snuck through eBay only fits two of those conditions so I'm guessing it's something else 📖

There are actually 5 watches that meet that criteria. (90s era, leather only, starts with BA, Limited Edition)

20th Anniversary Apollo Souz (50 made)
Golden Panda (40 made)
18k Gold Skeleton/Jubilee 27 (50 made)
and then the other two were specially made Saudi and Kuwait, and most likely not obtainable.

Congrats @Taddyangle I can't wait to see this in the metal. I'm not giving it away just yet, but I will say I've seen this reference in the metal and its STUNNING! Also, I agreed to stand down on this one as I knew Bernard had been looking long and hard for a gold Speedy and didn't want this to result in me running up my pal. Still, it took an amazing amount of self control not to snipe this one in the last minute. 😁 I was rather surprised this was not posted on OF before the end of auction, as its not something you see everyday.

And before anybody gets any bright ideas I've already got dibs on it should Bernard's wife interfere with his gold Speedy dreams.

Well the Jubilee was available on a gold bracelet and carries the reference 3696.50, is what I was saying....

I had actually considered nabbing this one and sending it to Omega to re-fit the correct 18k hand-set for a flip, but I'm glad it's going towards a good cause 😀

It'll be really cool to see this one when it arrives!

I also considered trying to snipe, but passed at the last second. I'm sure it looks 10x better in person than his pics, but ultimately decided it was too dressy for me and wasn't sure on flipping value! Congrats!

Ah, I had seen the skeleton on two different gold bracelets and assumed aftermarket adds, not original with bracelet. So, I was mistaken saying only on leather strap.

This watch has some issues, aside from handset. Bottom side lugs are an issue too. I think however it was reflected in price. I am just hopeful hands can be purchased from Omega. I have seen this model watch in real life and it is bad-ass.

And if I can find a gold bracelet it would be a daily wearer for me.

Considering the last two of these sold at auction for $93000, and $56000, I'd say this one was a great buy, even with the aforementioned issues, which can hopefully be addressed. Add a bracelet and this is seriously next level. Here's a pic of the one that sold for $93000 (It was offered to me privately for $65000 (sorry, I'm not that guy), and it did not come with the bracelet... the sale in May 2017 for $56000 did have a bracelet. I took a bunch of pics but can't find them, so this one I did find was on the wrist of the former owner.

WoWoWoW! I hope you have the pinky-ring (and necklace(and Magnum-PI shirt with chest-curls)) to balance that! Awesome...
