    here is a super cool 70s watch... yes its solid 18k yellow gold... weights in at about 8.5 oz....

    Gorgeous! It's one of my grails but I doubt I'll ever let myself spend the money. Quick, sell it to me cheap since they're so unfashionable. :whistling:

    I suspect the relative rarity, cost/difficulty of service... Oh and price of 8.5 oz of gold might keep the hoi-poloi away. ;)

    It's a great watch, funny thing my brother loves the steel w blue dial version. I was traveling and came across one in Portland,Or . First one I bought was for him. I came across mine about 6 months later..
