Hey everybody,

Does anyone has an idea about the worth of this Omega Constellation? (18k gold, runs perfectly)
Thanks in advance!
Greetings!

The picture is terrible and that makes it very difficult to try and help you. Based on the picture you gave us the, the watch case looks like it's plated and the plate is quite worn. If the band is 18K is worth more than the watch...

it would help if you could give a better picture of the dial face and let us seen what condition the movement is in.

Yes I understand. At the moment the watch is not with me, Thats why i only got some normal pictures and no close ups.
And yes the watch is very worn, but im not planning on selling it. I just liked to have an indicitation about its worth, but i understand It can be hard to determine solely based on this picture. Thanks anyway!

Hi @GoBroncos58 . Welcome.

I respectfully disagree with @Ravineman . I can tell you it is not the most beloved case shape of a Connie (Constellation) but even with this picture it does not look like a redial and (edit) therefore it would not cost less than the aftermarket bracelet.

I am not sure about the crown too... Maybe an incorrect replacement but I am not sure.

If I am not mistaken, crowns in such cases should be hidden and that is part of the design of this watch.

If the inside of the watch is also correct, I believe cal 564, and if the case is not too polished, and this is solid gold (which looks like it) I don't think it would be less than 700€. Maybe I am wrong and the real experts will be able to tell.

Recently a similar watch was sold here for around 800€, but it was stainless steel. It was however in good condition and with the correct crown.

It would help though, if you post better shots!

Best,

Rudi

Thank you for the reply,

The watch was checked recently at an official Omega dealer, and he told me that there had been indeed an incorrect replacement with the Crown in the past (the watch was from my grandfather).
However, in the near future i will be able to take some new and better pictures! It will probably be easier to tell then. Cheers!
